The Plenary Hall of the City Council has welcomed the submission of candidates for Queen of the Festival 2009 in a ceremony presided by Mayor Cehegín, Jose Soria, and Councilman Celebration, Francisco April.
This year, the Royal Court will consist of Patricia Jiménez Moya (17 years), Mavi Fernández González (18 years), Fina Guillén Sánchez (17 years), Irene Llorente Franco (15), Elena Carlini Spin (16), Pilar Sandoval López (16 years) and María José Gómez González (17 years), of which one will be elected Queen of the Festival.
