The writer Salvador García Jiménez presented at the Casa de la Cultura his latest book, 'The poems of Lawrence F.

Carranza ', with which he has rendered a tremendous posthumous tribute to the poet of the earth.

The event, chaired by Mayor Jose Soria and Councilman of Culture, Nicholas del Toro, was present the honoree's son, Francisco Fernandez, who arrived from Paris with his wife to know, not just the creative side of his father, but also personal, marked by countless situations and experiences that made him an endearing character of the time.

He was a writer and perhaps also a genius.

Won the prestigious Lope de Vega and went on to recite at the Teatro Ateneo de Madrid, appearing in national newspapers this action.

"The book covers the vast majority of the poems he wrote, although there may still be some loose, in possession of his friends," said Salvador García Jiménez, who had "the day that Carranza was given a street Cehegín told Mayor: "Thanks, but why do not you give me a house", which said a lot about the personality of the minstrel and troubadour ceheginero.

"A book full of mysteries, a writer who wanted to publish" Garcia said Jimenez, who added that "for many years, I wondered if Carranza was a good poet or pretended to be.

Now I know I was a poet as the crown of a pine. "

In a 47-page preface written by García Jiménez, it tells many stories, which "give him a carrot and sand, not wanting to be a homage to glitter."

Carranza's son, Francisco, was very grateful and touched by the tribute that he yielded to his father, who, he confessed, "I saw very little in recent years."

Fernandez explained that "my family did not understand why he had not my father's books.

Perhaps it was because they wanted him, not because he could publish. "

It also said that "the city of Madrid recently called us because he wanted to publish the text with which my father won the 'Lope de Vega', so this year we will be with two books in the street."

"After so many years cultural closes a cycle ceheginero had scattered his work," said Mayor Joseph Soria before a House of Culture full of people who could hear the speakers again in a broken voice of Carranza, reciting his immortal poems in 'Ateneo' of Madrid.
