The president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS), José Salvador Fuentes Zorita, has received Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, who has asked the basin agency cooperation in the environmental recovery project Argos River as it passes through the ceheginero town.

Fuentes Zorita was predisposed to cooperate with the City of Cehegín, for which he showed his support to provide technical advice to draft the project, through the CHS staff.

In addition, the president of the CHS Soria told that this action should be undertaken through the cooperation of various agencies, as competition for such projects is, basically, to the local government, which was transferred development of the Autonomy Statute in 1984.
