The City Council will reward those who attend cultural events (02/10/2008)

Councilman Nicholas del Toro has introduced the "Cultural Passport", an initiative born from the Department of Culture, in order to "stimulate and encourage the attendance of persons, especially young people, cultural events to take place in Cehegín throughout the year. "

The cehegineros will now have another reason to attend conferences, presentations, debates, forums, plays, auditions, shows, etc., as the Department of Culture will be rewarded only for his presence in them.

It has created a type of book called "Cultural Passport", which will always get the user, so that every time you go to an event organizers are the seal.

Once you have collected 8 or 16 stamps, he may exchange it for numerous awards.

This passport is designed for all ages, from 8 years onwards.

The awards, which will directly without drawings, are $ 10 vouchers for school supplies, bonds, 30 bathrooms in the summer pool, lots of books, subscriptions concert tickets for all the holidays in September, and even a trip for four to Disneyland Paris.

This means that each person fulfilling a particular set of stamps will receive the award directly to that product, no raffles or detours.

Those interested can collect their passports from next week at the Casa de la Cultura.

According to Nicholas del Toro, "we have spent many years trying to youth attending cultural events, and now with this initiative, it is time to give that little push he needed."
