The City Council has asked the builders who are doing public work in the municipality to use materials produced by companies cehegineras, to smooth the effects of the crisis that is battering the economy and especially the construction sector.
The industry includes companies ceheginera extraction of marble and natural stone, aggregate and earthworks of the most important and competitive in Spain, so the quality of the materials they produce is extraordinary.
With arguments like this, the municipality has been advised to take account of these raw materials for their works, and that, as far as possible, hire staff and services of companies cehegineras.
At present there are numerous public works which are underway or will soon begin to be implemented, such as the Convent Garden, the arena, the first stage of the Auditorium, the Church of the Conception, the three new nurseries, remodeling field Canara football, rural roads, renovation of water supply systems and sanitation, and the remodeling of the Avenida de la Plaza de Toros and the bus station, among others, in the aggregate amount of 12,680,000 euros.
