The Director General of Industrial Energy and mining activity in the region of Murcia, Esther Marin Gomez, visited Cehegín, where he met with Mayor Jose Rafael Rocamora, with the Councillor for Agriculture and Environment, Maria Jose Martinez Verdugo, Aldermen and Industry, Chico Francisco Molina, and the Works and Services, Ismael Garcia Abellan.
The aim of the visit was to see first hand the industrial reality of our municipality and strengthen ties of cooperation between the two administrations.
The Mayor, in the meeting, has explained to the Director General of the industrial fabric of reality that has Cehegín, in all industry sectors, as well as some of the needs that currently this sector.
On the other hand, is the fact also delivering a dossier on all the resources of industrial land are there Cehegín, availability, and the various aids included in the Plan of Industrial Development with that counts the City to purchase soil and the installation of new businesses.
The Director, for his part, explained the outline of what is to be done from the Community in the coming months concerning support for businesses on issues of efficiency and modernization.
In addition to the workshop at City Hall, this visit has served to the Director General make a visit to a marble processing factory as well as a quarry.
He has also been in the Marble Technology Center, where its Director, Javier Fernandez, explained the various activities taking place in it.
Mayor Jose Rafael Rocamora, said that "it is very important to our municipality, the two Administrations have close cooperation, and particularly with the Directorate General in particular, for the promotion of industry and employment is one of the priorities of the government team. "
