In the last five years the Community has allocated nearly 1,100,000 euros to educational facilities in the city
The Minister of Education and Universities, Maria Isabel Sanchez-Mora, said Tuesday after meeting with the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Rafael Rocamora, his department is planning work next year to cover the sports senior high school 'Vega Argos' located in that municipality, amounting to 115,000 euros.
The Minister also informed the mayor of the improvement works carried out over the past five years in schools in the town, whose investment amounts to 1,098,122 euros.
The Minister of Education explained that carried out work in school 'Count Campillos', with the construction of six children's classrooms and one classroom of psychomotor and repair of housing, worth 846,465 euros.
At school 'Virgen de las Maravillas' pavement was replaced in several classrooms, with a budget of 15,000 euros.
In the nursery school 'Virgen de las Maravillas' repairs were performed in classrooms at a cost of 10,515 euros.
Also, the structure of the building of the institute 'Alquipir' rehabilitated, amounting to 16,882 euros, while the 'Vega del Argos' locker rooms were recently constructed amounting to 209,260 euros.
