The Crimson project digitizes the Chapter Acts of the eighteenth and nineteenth of the archive file Cehegín (18/05/2015)

The CEOs of Research, Innovation and Information Society, Celia Martínez Mora, and Cultural Heritage, Maria Comas, have been delivered to the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria, and the councilman of Culture, Nicholas del Toro, digitized files with new old documents of the municipality, in addition to the catalog of the Crimson project.

These are pages of Chapter Acts of the eighteenth century and the archive documents of the nineteenth century preserved in the Municipal Archives.

With these new files are now 900,000 pages of old documents that have been scanned in the region of Murcia through the Crimson (catalog files Murcia on the Information Society), an initiative project to the regional government put launched in 2005 as part of Digital Murcia Region.

The last files that were delivered correspond to the work carried out in 2014, during the eighth stage of the project.

This documentary is also of interest to researchers and teachers from all over the world.

During 2015, it is scheduled to end scanning of the Chapter Acts of the eighteenth century and start of documents belonging to the period of Charles V. In addition, actions will be taken to bring the contents of the project to citizens, especially in the framework of the project ' chroniclers of Time '.
