Jesus de la Ossa wins the XVII Competition Short Novel 'Ciudad de Tíjola' (10/02/2015)

The writer cehegionero Jesus de la Ossa has won the seventeenth Short Story Contest "City of Tíjola 'with the work titled' The Threshold of Nothing ', presented by the pseudonym Alquipir.

The award of this edition consisted of 800 euros, the publication of the original award and a diploma of this award.

The award ceremony took place on the occasion of the Festival of San Sebastian of this Andalusian village.

At this meeting the mayor of Tíjola, Mario Padilla, has been commissioned to deliver the prize to the writer.

Jesús de la Ossa born in Cehegín April 1974.

He graduated in Hispanic Studies from the University of Murcia.

He was awarded in the contest of literature 'Young Creation 97' of Murcia, with its tale 'The perfume wandering failure'.

That year he represented his region in Romania in the 'Youth for Europe' program, in which he presented his novel, "An infinite drift '.

The 'Foundation for Civil Rights' in 2000 he published his story "Learning to die'm walking'.

In 2001 he won the national competition for young literature in Burgos, 'Burgos, your province', with the story, 'The caress of the last dew'.

He also has published more stories like 'The Rime Kings' City of Murcia 2002;

or poetry as 'No candles in the mud', Accésit Murcia Young 2002.

The Regional Editor of Murcia he published, in 2003, the novel 'Nobody dies at twilight'.

In 2005, gets the second prize of 'Gabriel Miró' award with his story 'Epilogue of grandeur', later published in the Editorial Nostrum.

Winner 'Jail', the City of Totana, and the 'Villa de Garrucha' in 2006.

In 2008 he won the National Prize for Young Creation of the City of Almería, with his work 'Sick Man';

the second prize short novel César Navarro Foundation Getafe with his work 'Afterwords', the second prize of Briareo Award, de la Mota del Cuervo, with his story 'The Miller Dulcinea', and Honorable Mention National Short Story Contest Mula, with his story 'La Gloria vacuum'.

In 2009, first prize for poetry 'Miguel Hernández' Enguera, with the work 'Like a sun crucified' and the first prize in the national competition tale 'The Guard' with his work, 'The Grammar of nostalgia' .

In 2010, winner of the national competition Hoteles Elba story with 'Un any hotel'.

In 2011, Amudeca prize, with the story "End of tragedy ';

Users and Lorca Housewives prize with a story 'old Quake'.

In 2012, finalist of the International Short Story Award 'Mario Vargas Llosa', Arequipa, with 'That sad eternity'.

This year also won the national poetry prize Villarrobledo Red Cross, with the poems 'El Mirador of our times'.

In 2013, win prizes stories dedicated to women in the municipalities of Abarán and Lorca, with titles, 'Never let the heart asleep on reality' and 'Heart of Dulcinea', respectively, and Award finalist Taurine Hemingway Literature Feria de Nimes, with the story "That tragic loneliness'.
