The Association for Rare Diseases D`Genes opens office in Cehegín for the entire West (04/02/2015)

The Association for Rare Diseases D'Genes soon open an office in the Northwest Region based in Cehegín.

Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, and the councilman of Social Services, María José de Maya, met with the president of D'Genes, Juan Carrion, and the coordinator of the association in the Northwest, Pascual Donate to, among other issues, addressing the development of activities that the association will take place to commemorate World Rare Disease Day, which is celebrated on February 28, and the need to operate a delegation of D'Genes that coordinate the Northwest area.

The delegation of Cehegín serve as a reference for other municipalities in the region as Moratalla, Calasparra, Bullas and Caravaca de la Cruz.

This new delegation D'Genes will open in Cehegín will Pascual Donate coordinator and also have the collaboration of Mari Carmen María José Llorente and Teruel.

With the opening of this new branch of D'Genes is intended that all those who are affected by a rare or being diagnosed disease that area know they are not alone and can meet and work services provided by the association Headquartered is in Totana, which has the Multidisciplinary Center 'Celia Carrión Pérez de Tudela', attended by users across the Region of Murcia.

Furthermore, on the occasion of World Day for Rare Diseases Cajamurcia Cultural Hall will host a photo exhibition from 23 to 28 February under the title 'The ER full of life'.

It is a traveling exhibition that has helped the partner Barcelonista Totana Peña Juan Manuel Martínez Casanova and will tour other cities such as Alhama de Murcia, Cartagena and Vitoria.
