The Musical Society Cehegín and Betania Association shall Eastern Star and Royal Postman on Kings Parade (03/01/2015)

The Three Kings Parade next January 5 will feature 14 floats from which more than 8,000 toys were distributed

The Musical Society Cehegín and Therapeutics Association Betania have been chosen by the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cehegín to represent the figures of the Eastern Star and Royal Postman in Kings Parade next January 5th.

This morning, Mayor Jose Soria, and Councilman Celebration, Rubén Sánchez, received at City Hall representatives of both entities and the two people on behalf of them embody these characters in the events that terminate Christmas.

The Musical Society has garnered various triumphs in recent years such as the first prize in the National Competition of Bands 'Ciudad de Murcia' in 2013 and second prize in 2014. In the afternoon, from 18:00 hours, will begin the parade, which will tour the main streets of the town starting from Marble Technology Center.

A new feature of the procession will be the participation of about 40 students of the Municipal School of Gymnastics performing choreography and animation.

A total of 14 floats will be part of the ride, one more than last year, from more than 8,000 toys were distributed.
