A photograph of the oldest surviving in the Virgin Wonderland illustrates novenario the poster of the brotherhood of the Lady of Cehegín celebrated annually from 1 to 9 September as a prelude to the festivity of the city and as preparation for the feast of the Virgin, which is September 10.
The poster, by the Mavi Photos photo studio has been submitted after the memorial service of the 289 anniversary of the arrival of the Virgin Cehegín Wonderland, held in the sanctuary of the patron, in the convent of the Franciscan Fathers.
In the picture, both the Virgin and the infant Jesus bearing the old, original crowns of the eighteenth century, which still remain and were the first they had upon arrival in Cehegín.
The president of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Wonders, Alfonso City, has announced that this year, as a novelty, the novena will have nine preachers, one for each day, all of them born priests Cehegín.
During the ceremony has been honored by the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Wonders Rafael Abril, in recognition of his selfless work in assisting with the religious corporation, especially his role as conductor of the processional chariot Virgin Wonderland nights 10 and 14 September.
