Peña Rubia debuts a neighborhood park with children's playground areas, gardens and an artificial lake (25/04/2014)

Thanks to integrated action and an investment of 73,000 euros that has affected mostly in local companies, the Peña Rubia neighborhood has a park can now enjoy all the neighbors.

The project, inaugurated by the mayor, José Soria, and Councilman Works and Services, Juan Antonio Chico, have converted a plot owned by the City in a green space with children's play areas, gardens and an artificial lake, regenerating its Once a wide area between the streets Joan Miró, rate and Miguel de Unamuno.

Work began in May 2013 and, according to the Councillor for Works and Services, have had different performances, starting with earthmoving and building around the perimeter of the site of masonry walls.

The mayor stressed during the opening ceremony this park joins two other nearby green areas such as the hamlet of El Seco and the Chirros in the area of ​​Northwest Greenway.
