The Wine School Cehegín, present at the first Fair of Tourism in the Region of Murcia (28/02/2014)

Cehegín Mayor and Councillor for Tourism have been present at the opening by promoting the School Wine in the DO Bullas

The Wine School Cehegín, as a new space that wants to be a reference to wine culture, is present at the fair with a stand which is provided to all Murcia and visitors.

The Minister of Culture and Tourism has described this day as "historic", the society presented in wines from Murcia "in all its complexity, richness, variety, and its long record of possibilities."

Pedro Alberto Cruz has said that those who visit this fair "will be very surprised at all the aspects that are still unknown of our wines."

The Minister stressed that this fair "is a joint effort and an example of cooperation between the regional administration, the four municipalities involved councils and regulatory designations of origin."

The Councillor for Tourism Cehegín explained that Wine School is designed to educate people about the world of wines and as a tourist resort, "since we are talking about the restoration of an old cellar of the seventeenth century was now closed and has been worth it. "

Cehegín Mayor said that the show is a "very interesting" initiative because tourism has to be linked "to the food, the wine, all this world so interesting."

Besides tasting wines and tapas at the show can be purchased wines from Murcia and there are a total of 38 stands where the Wine Routes, which include warehouses, mills, restaurants, accommodation, share space with public institutions and related companies the wine.

SPECIFIC PROGRAMS AND WORKSHOPS

16 workshops are scheduled during the three days for the public in general and a specific program for professionals, which includes lectures, tastings and a panel discussion, highlighting the involvement of Zamarra Custodio, president of the Spanish Association of Sommeliers.
