Cehegín gets over 137,000 for training for unemployed (04/02/2014)

These three courses will enable to obtain the professional certificate

Through Fecoam two other courses related to the food industry will be offered

Jobs Councilman Francisco in April, has announced this morning training courses for unemployed people who will develop along this year Cehegín 2014, some courses for which the City has achieved the Employment Service and Formation of the Region of Murcia over 137,000 euros, "the highest monetary amount has been achieved in our town for training for the unemployed," according to the Councillor.

The first course will take place beginning this month of February, entitled 'Welding with coated electrode and tig', will last 680 hours, equivalent to about six months, and is targeted at 15 students.

This course includes professional practices.

Some of the content are the cutting and edge preparation, welding with different types of materials and interpreting welding planes.

Also for a total of 15 students is directed the second course, called 'Painter', which will begin in April and will last 600 hours.

This course, like the previous one, includes among its professional practices and content is the application of tempera paints and plastics, varnishes, wallpapers, imitations and signs and paint work organization.

The third course, which starts in May, called 'Auxiliary operations masonry and covered' and will last 320 hours (about three months).

This course is also aimed at a total of 15 students, currently unemployed, and also include professional practices.

In this course students will learn the processes and preparing equipment and resources in masonry, coated factories running and running skirts on decks.

Francisco Abril explained that the most important of these three courses to be developed in the workshops located in the old railway station, is to enable students to obtain the professional certificate, in specific cases equivalent to the title of Secondary Education (ESO), a qualification that is required for admission to many jobs.

On the other hand, Councilman Jobs has unveiled two other courses related to the food industry obtained from the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives in the Region of Murcia (Fecoam).

The first course is' prevention coordinator, quality and environment, directed to all those involved in the food industry, such as farmers, ranchers, technicians, entrepreneurs and unemployed.

The maximum number of students is 15 and for the degree of Bachelor of access is required.

With a duration of 200 hours, this course will cover the contents between the regulatory framework on the prevention of occupational hazards, specific criteria applied to agriculture and technical quality standards and environment.

The second course of the agrifood sector is 'plant protection pesticides Handler', for the same profile as above the students.

With a duration of 25 hours, its main contents are the means of defense plant protection, plant protection and phytosanitary treatments.

These two courses are held at the House of Music.

Francisco Abril explained that those interested in any of these five courses may request more information at the Reference Center TIC (Mataró street) or the Local Employment Centre (Begastri street).

The council has made a particular impact on the course 'Welding with coated electrode and tig' as it begins this month of February and the selection of students will be made in coming days.

To end his appearance, Councilman Francisco Abril has referred to the employment workshop requested by the City to perform in the Plaza de Toros, continuing the rehabilitation and upgrading works carried out in recent years in the ceheginero arena.

The mayor explained that this project did not make the call last December, but from relevant agencies have reported that in March, comes a new call and this workshop has many chances of being awarded.

If so would a grant which would allow for a year to hire 45 people over 25 years, divided into three workshops (painting, masonry and carpentry).
