The Councillor for Public Safety, Maria Dolores Carrasco, has announced that, by the local police, will be carried out daily preventive alcohol tests for drivers of vehicles.

To do this, facilities granted by the Directorate General of Traffic on a consistent van vehicle equipped with an evidential breathalyzer will be used.

Maria Dolores Carrasco recalled that, apart from the penalties arising from driving under the influence of alcohol, this constitutes a potential danger to other citizens and for himself, with tragic results to avoid

The data from these tests for alcohol will be sent to the Traffic Department for evaluation and inclusion in reports traffic statistics.
