The Department of Social Services directed by María José de Maya encourages citizens who wish to join a campaign to collect school supplies aimed at families with less resources of the municipality.
It is an initiative to facilitate the start of the school to the poorest families by sharing what in many homes because there is plenty in duplicate.
The materials collection point is the House of Culture.
Colored pencils, markers, pens, rulers, pencil sharpeners, erasers, and notebooks pages are some of the most demanded materials and items that provide the so-called 'September costs' to the families of students with fewer opportunities to access this material .
