Alcazar de San Juan, Calasparra and Cehegín unite through music of their respective bands (01/09/2013)

The interpretation of 'Canto a Murcia' from the operetta 'The Clubbing' by tenor Juan Ibernon ceheginero has put a final vibrant XIII Festival of Bands 'Cehegín City', which was held tonight at the Square Castillo and which involved the Band Alcazar de San Juan and Calasparra Band with hostess training, Cehegín Musical Society.

The event was presented by Alfonso Gil and has had the assistance of the council of Culture and Celebration, Nicolas del Toro and Ruben Sanchez, respectively.

At three compositions each band has performed on stage added ceheginera society as usual the most famous piece of zarzuela by Alonso as a gift that the public always expects and hums along to the solo.

But the festival program included a much wider repertoire with pieces and themes from different eras and genres.

One of the pieces that has attracted public attention was the paso doble Concert 'To my mother', the renowned composer Roque Banos Jumilla, which has been played by the band calasparreña.

The band rice city has also played 'The Legend of Maracaibo' Pina and 'Gives Us This Day' of Maslanka.

The first approach was the formation Mancha Alcazar de San Juan, which has interpreted the paso doble 'Yakka' Vilaplana, 'Bulgarian Dances' Cesarini and a selection of the operetta 'La leyenda del beso' from Soutullo and Vert.

It closed the night Cehegín Musical Society, directed by Rafael Gonzalez, who has raised the standing ovations to the interpretation of 'Competition east' of Pascual Marquina, 'Fancy friendly' Jose Velez and 'Bonaparte' by Otto Schwarz.

Before the festival, the three bands have made a parade from the Juan Carlos I Park to City Hall, where they were received by the authorities and the Queen and the Ladies of the Festival.

At the conclusion of the event has taken place the usual gift-giving.

Musical activities of the Festivities continue this Sunday, September 1, with the whole choir concert 'Cehegín City' and the Musical Society this year will be especially dedicated to the genre of the song and will take place also in the Square Castle from 21:30.
