Public Safety reminds dog owners duty to pick up after their pets (05/06/2013)

With the arrival of warm weather, people spend more time on the street, in parks, in gardens, in the Greenway, and in general public use areas in which you have to meet some minimum standards of living that enable everyone to enjoy these public spaces.

Therefore, the departments of Environment and Public Safety want to give special emphasis to the neighbors who walk their dogs in these areas, subjects have to take the belt or chain, and even, where necessary, affix the muzzle , and should contain the animal droppings deposited on the street.

In many cases, the dog owner may think it is harmless and not dangerous to others, but do not know the other people who go through your hand, with fear or with suspicion, muddying your ride.

These are basic rules of coexistence, contained in the Ordinances of Companion Animal Ownership in Cleaning and the Public Safety and Local Police will ensure compliance.
