The Department of Public Safety reported that the City Council has joined Cehegín special campaign monitoring and control of distracted driving, sponsored by the General Directorate of Traffic, which takes place from today, Monday, June 3, until next Sunday, June 9.

During these days, especially the local police monitor mobile phone use, the browser, helmets or headphones connected to reproductive systems, and, in general, all offenses related to distractions while driving, which are the cause of much of traffic accidents.

The above facts are serious offenses punishable by 200 euros and removal of 3 points.
