'The boat without fisherman', a critique of social amorality in Amateur Theatre Festival X (23/05/2013)

The Theatre and Culture Association The Encebras, which takes its name from a district that is located in the southeastern town of Jumilla, near the Sierra del Carche, will stage this afternoon 'no fisherman's boat', the third of the works in X programming Amateur Theatre Festival 'Cehegín City' and it will move up the boards of the stage of the House of Culture in a total of eleven actors and actresses 'amateur' to give life to many characters fiction.

'The fisherman boat without' is a play in three acts by playwright Alejandro Casona is set in Spain, in an old fishing port.

The plot revolves around a prominent businessman, Ricardo Jordan, who loses all his fortune and whose only solution is to agree with a mysterious gentleman to recover the lost money, but, in return, have to kill a man, simply by thought.

The work is an example of criticism of those who are always willing to skip the moral norms to achieve their goals.

The assembly has the direction of Ana Thomas, who has stated that "we are all proud to have been selected to participate in this contest, as Cehegín has a great tradition of theater, so we hope to do our best."

The company has represented this work jumillana previously in other settings of the Region of Murcia, and the Teatro Vico Jumilla or White Victoria Theatre.
