Convert a site which for some years has been used to install cattle pens closures of San Zeno in a green and a playground for the enjoyment of residents is the goal of the works that have recently started on a parcel located at the confluence of the streets Joan Miró and Miguel de Unamuno.
The mayor, Jose Soria, and Councilman Works and Services, Juan Antonio Chico, this morning visited the refurbishment of the site, which will last until the end of the year and are being executed for the most part by the City Council staff.
Chico explained that the plot has a slope that will be used to define two zones at different heights.
On the one hand creates a playground and the other a green area with large trees.
The overall budget of the action amounts to 25,000 euros.
For his part, the Mayor informed the meeting with the residents of the area who moved her concern about the state of the site and what his future.
"This action is thus a commitment we made to the neighbors, who will enjoy a green, and as it was decided to suspend the running this year we have started the work without further delay," said Soria, who has added to future editions pens closures will be located on a site near the roundabout at the bus station.
