Mary Ibernon wins first prize V Children's Story Contest Book Day (22/04/2013)

The Culture House has welcomed this morning's V Awards Children's Story Contest organized between schools in the municipality to commemorate the International Day of the Book to be held tomorrow, April 23.

The councilman of Culture, Nicholas del Toro, has been commissioned to deliver the awards.

The first award was Ibernon girl Maria Jimenez, CEIP student Begastri City, for his story "The Murders in the carnival night '.

Valero Juan de Dios Rodríguez Pérez Villanueva CEIP, has won the second prize for the story entitled 'A life in books', while Marina Matallana Lorencio, Count of Campillos CEIP, received the third prize for the story "Carolina and magic book '.

The three have read their stories in public after receiving their awards.

During the ceremony also received a gift students belonging to the team 'Apaches', CEIP Begastri City, which was the winner of the gymkhana 'Discovering Cehegín' held by the old town on April 16.

In addition, for the first time this year, has been recognized more readers and younger more loans made in the Municipal Library throughout the past year 2012.

The councilman of Culture stressed the importance of reading in the development of the individual and encouraged children and young people learn to enjoy reading.
