The reader revitalization project presented by the Municipal Library Cehegín 'Creating readers' has been selected by the Evaluation Commission of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, in the project selection process Campaign Encouraging Reading Maria Moliner, as announced by the Councillor for Education, Nicholas del Toro.
The award consists of a set of books to promote reading in public libraries in municipalities with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants for the year 2013.
Already in 2010, the library ceheginera won one of the three national awards Maria Moliner 2010, granted by the Ministry of Culture, the project 'Culture and reading to all', for which he received 12,000 euros in cash and batch of 200 children's books.
The councilman of Culture has been very pleased that the library has again been selected for this prestigious project, "which shows that they are doing things right," he assured.
Nicolás del Toro wanted to recognize the work and the work done by the staff of the municipal library pro-disclosure culture and reading, saying it is "proud" to have few professionals that value.
