Cehegín City Council, through the Department of Environment, led by Maria Dolores Carrasco, returns once again to participate in the campaign 'Earth Hour' in favor of the fight against climate change, in which thousands of cities around the world will turn off for one hour lighting his most emblematic monuments and, next Saturday, March 23, from 20.30 to 21.30 hours.
In Cehegín proceed to disconnecting the external lighting of the City Hall, the arcades of the Plaza del Castillo, the Archaeological Museum, the Palace of Fajardo, the church of St. Mary Magdalene Church of Solitude, that of Holy Christ, Tercia palace, the ruins of the hermitage of San Sebastián, the hermitage of the Virgen de la Peña, the convent of San Esteban, the Youth Space and the arc of the Plaza of Spain.
Furthermore, Carrasco has appealed to all citizens, companies and businesses to adhere to the campaign via the web www.horadelplaneta.es and participate actively in the fight against climate change.
