The Councillor of Environment, Maria Dolores Carrasco, has reported that next Friday, September 21, at 10 am, and on the occasion of the celebration of the European Day XI Greenways, will be held a meeting at the Cehegín hostel, located in the old train station.
The event, organized by the Consortium of greenways in the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the municipalities of Cehegín, Bullas and Caravaca, is included within the European Mobility Week, which takes place from 16 to 22 September and this year has the theme "Join mobility plans for your city: move in the right direction".
"This is an awareness campaign to sensitize policy makers and citizens, on the negative consequences of irrational use of the car in the city, both for public health and for the environment, and the benefits of use of more sustainable transport such as public transport, cycling or just walking, "have assured those responsible for this campaign.
During the day, students Employment Workshop conducted tours of the Greenway, where each participant will be greeted with a backpack with supplies.
