Citizens can not "throw away" the holidays (14/03/2012)

Councilman Works and Services of the City of Cehegin, Juan Antonio Chico, announced that "the service of urban solid waste collection is not active during the eleven year holidays, in order to save on the period around 16,000 euros ".

March 19: San Jose.

April 6: Good Friday.

April 9: Easter Monday.

May 1: Labour Day.

June 9: Day of the Region of Murcia.

August 15: Assumption Day.

October 12: Day of Pilar.

1 November: All Saints Day.

December 6: Day of the Constitution.

December 8th: Day of the Virgin.

December 25: Christmas.

Chico explained that "during the rest of the year, the service of urban solid waste collection remains as normal, so it is not altered quality of life of citizens. In addition, on holidays, the amount of garbage deposited in containers people is very low, so it's not worth keeping this expense, with the crisis that is going through. "
