The Arcades and the Municipal Archaeological Museum, located in the Plaza del Castillo of Cehegin, have welcomed the sample wines and wineries of the Denomination of Origin Bullas, who has caught a great success due to the large number of wines and lovers of participating brands.
President of the Regulatory Council of the DO Bullas, Francisco Carreño, the CEO of Modernization of Farms and Agricultural Training, Angel Garcia, the mayor of Cehegin, Jose Soria, and Councillor for Tourism, Francisco in April, have led this sample, which aims to promote and strengthen this appellation of origin.
Soria has assured during the development of it, that "we want to exploit Cehegín the wine world. In fact, we have conducted guided tours of wineries, we will enter the wine route and have awarded the works of the School Cehegín Wine. "
For its part, Carreño has made clear that "there is a firm commitment by the farmer to improve the quality and brands. Although we will not have the resources at our disposal once the DO and the Wine Route will make us more competitive. "
The CEO has launched, in turn, the idea that "perhaps it would be nice to all national designations of origin under the umbrella brand, 'Wines of Spain', for example."
Attendees at this event, many of them professionals in the hospitality sector, have been able to taste wines from the wineries Contreras, Del Rosario, San Isidro and Carrascalejo, World Wine, Terce of Ulea, Balcony, Mill and Lagares, Monastrell, Carreño and Begastri.
This sample wines and wineries of the DO Bullas has been carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia, Cehegin Town Council and the Association of Innkeepers and merchants of this city.
