XXX Murciano Sports Awards will be presented today Friday, September 16, at 21.30 am in the House of Culture Cehegín, in a ceremony attended by all the winners, considered the best athletes last year.

The event will be chaired by the Director General of Sports in the Region of Murcia and Olympic medalist, Antonio Penalver, president of the Athletics Federation of Murcia, Antonio Penalver, president of the Association Athletic Sports Cehegín, Juan Martinez, Cehegín Mayor, Jose Soria, and the Councillor for Sports, Antonio Marín.

This year's awardees are:

- Iván Gómez Ruiz ('journalism').

- Jose Joaquin Rojas (cycling, 'Best Male Athlete ").

- Patricia Llaguno Zielinski (paddle, 'Best Female Athlete ").

- José Clemente Javier Cano (canoeing, 'Female Athlete Promise U' 18 ').

- María Isabel Merino Lopez (taekwondo, 'Female Athlete Promise U' 18 ').

- Club Swimming Fuensanta ('Work of Sports Promotion ").

- Sports Department Lorca ('Sportsmanship').

- Luis Gil Torres (basketball, 'Labor of a coach').

- UCAM Murcia Basketball Club ('Gesta Sports').

- Francisco Esparza and Maria Dolores Cabañas Ros ("Research Paper").
