The new Public Safety headquarters in the municipality of Cehegín be completed in the second quarter of next year as work on the building is proceeding "apace", said today the Minister of Justice and Public Safety, Manuel Campos.

The center, which is located on a plot of over of 1,359 square meters, is located in a building with two floors and basement, intended to house the Local Police and Civil Protection.

The headquarters building is funded through a collaborative agreement between the Autonomous Community, which gives 700,000 euros to a total of 1,025,000, running the remainder by the council, which also gave the land.
