Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, along with the councilor of the consistory ceheginero Association, Maria Teresa González, has opened its new clubhouse in the neighborhood of San Juan, also known as the 'neighborhood of the Plaza de Toros', located in the Calle Juan de Austria.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the association of neighborhood residents, many locals and members of the municipal corporation.
The Father Guardian of the Franciscan convent, Father Emilio Martinez, has blessed the new premises during the opening ceremony in which also involved the local mayor and the president of the Association of Residents of Barrio de San Juan Ginés de Gea.
Jose Soria has congratulated the residents for this new venue that has been in his service and stated that "while the council owns this space for more than two decades was a pity that not been done before these works for use and enjoy the neighbors, but are finally a reality. "
For his part, President of the Association of Residents of the neighborhood, Ginés de Gea, thanked the consistory the effort to give all people living on this neighborhood facilities in which to enjoy their free time.
