The Fiestas Patronales of Cehegín already have image.
The City Council, through its Department of Celebrations, led by Ana Maria Molina, has announced the winner of the contest that was launched to choose the poster that will announce the most important festive events of the year.
It is Alba of Maya Ramos, resident in Alicante and with ceheginera ancestry.
The decision has been taken by the jury, today, as it appeared in the bases, which contemplate a prize valued at 500 euros for the winning work.
The author explained that "it is a watercolor effect on three representative images of Cehegín.I first made a composition with photographs in photoshop to have a photographic base.Above a white base layer, I glued the photographic composition, and created a layer that It would be the gradient of the main design.With a layer mask and a color gradient I made the central design.To give more intensity to the design I included a level mask to it.In the other hand, the dissolution effect of the photograph was achieved through A clipping mask in which I drew around the above-mentioned design and also created another layer mask to give a fading effect to the surrounding watercolor. Finally, I painted on the corners of the design in another layer mask to integrate the Design in the whole of the work, with brushstrokes of colors in effect watercolor ".
