The Government Team launches a citizen participation process for the 2017 Works and Services Plan (17/03/2017)

The Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, accompanied by the Councilor for Works and Services, Ismael Abellán, have presented a campaign in which cehegineros and cehegineras will be able to give their opinion on the participatory process that will designate the works to be undertaken in the Plan of Works and Services (POS) of 2017 in this municipality, within the framework of a campaign jointly promoted by the councils of Citizen Participation, directed by Maravillas Fernández, and the aforementioned Works and Services.

The Mayor explained that "From the Government Team we want the 2017 Works and Services Plan to go through a participatory process and know the citizen's assessment."

They have also commented that "the 2017 Works and Services plan has an investment of about 170,000 euros much lower than other plans of Works and Services that we received in other years and were much higher.We have other plans, we want Include actions that do not have space in this, or different contributions of the citizens that budgetaryly and technically can be undertaken in the different plans.

"Since the government team have continued, we have wanted to work on three lines of action for the development of proposed projects, the creation of green areas, the bet of our Old Town as the main tourist reference and of course the attempt to solve and Dignify deficiencies of basic services (lighting, sanitation and sewage) that some areas of our locality suffer "

On the other hand, they have called on the general population to help the City Council to know the needs of neighborhoods and districts and show their appreciation of municipal services and infrastructures.

Through this participation, citizens can be informed of the evolution of the Works and Services Plan.

Our Cehegín

The Department of Participation and Transparency launches the project "Our Cehegín" through which, we want to start a process of participation for the decision and consultation of different issues in a participatory manner.

Understanding participation not only as a consultative body, but also as a method of discussion through which different issues are consensual.
