The Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, together with the mayors of Caravaca, José Moreno, and Calasparra, José Vélez, have presented the tourist offer they will exhibit in Fitur jointly.
We remember that Fitur is the second most important fair of the world of Tourism that is celebrated in Madrid from this Wednesday, January 18, until Sunday 22.
The Stad of the municipalities of the Northwest will be located in a busy area and with continuous flow of people, between the stand of Andalusia and the rest of Autonomous Communities.
It will be 16 meters high and 7 meters wide and there will be a curved Led screen 8 meters long and 4 meters high, plus 5 large panels to promote the different tourist attractions and gastronomic of the region.
During the days of the fair three promotional videos of the three municipalities will be screened.
The program of promotion of the three localities consists of three parts: one of presentation, one with the different tourist activities, tastings and draws, and another of work with the tour operators and agencies to promote the area.
In addition, there will be informative leaflets from the different municipalities.
A total of 18 companies from the region of the Northwest have collaborated with the tastings, among them the cellars of the Wine Route of Bullas, Jams of Ceheginera, Sweets El Motolite, Sweets and nougat "Juani del Turrón", Vermut Ambel of " Murcia flavor ".
Also will be present the traditional Peros de Alcuza.
Specifically, on Cehegín the mayor, José Rafael Rocamora, explained that "it is the second consecutive year that we went to Fitur accompanied by Caravaca and Calasparra. We are much stronger if we go together, making Comarca, and we are convinced that we are thus more attractive to tourism".
José Rafael Rocamora also explained that Cehegín brings to Fitur its gastronomic wealth, in which the IX Route of the Tapa and the Cocktail will have special incidence, which will begin on January 28 and end on February 26.
The new edition has as special appeal that this year will become a Gastronomy, Culture and Tourism Fair, which will include complementary activities such as live concerts, conferences, theater, children's workshops etc, during the days in which Is celebrated the Route of the Cover.
Finally, the mayor added that Cehegín will disseminate its oenological potential, through the School of Wine, and its cultural heritage, through the Old Town and the late-Roman city of Begastri.
