The Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, accompanied by Cehegín City Council's Employment Counselor, Francisco Chico Molina, visited the 15 beneficiary students / workers in the Joint Employment and Youth Guarantee Training Program "Social-health care for social interest groups ".
The mayor and the councilor, accompanied by the coordinator of the program, Salvador Gómez Peñalver and Ana María Gonzalez Javier's trainer, visited the facilities of the Virgen de las Maravillas Day Center and the Hospital de la Real Piedad, two of the Three centers where the students are performing the program practices, being the third Afemnor center.

We remember that thanks to this program, which has a duration of one year and began last May, the young beneficiaries of it will be able to obtain the Certificate of Professionalism "Socio-health Care to dependent persons in Social Institutions", which Will undoubtedly be a more favorable position for the incorporation of these people into the labor market.
The project is being carried out thanks to a grant requested by the City and granted by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia, and has a total cost of 164,931.32 euros, co-financed with European Social Fund.
The Mayor stressed that "it is the first Mixed Program that is carried out in a sector different from that of construction, because although we consider that the programs related to the rehabilitation of infrastructures play an important role, it is imperative to bet on programs related to other areas, Because with these programs we must train our young people in the sectors of the future. There is no doubt that the socio-sanitary sector is one of them, especially when each day we find a society more aged.
