Next Friday, November 11, the cycle of conferences "Cehegín Cultural", organized by the Department of Culture, directed by Maravillas Fernández, dedicated in this edition to the world of science will continue.
It is entitled "Science is culture".
It will be in the House of Culture at 20:30 hours and is a Cultural Passport activity.
This time will be the turn to the conference "Most relevant applications of biotechnology in Medicine", which will develop this new discipline of biotechnology as well as its most relevant applications in the field of medicine together with future career prospects .
It will be delivered by ceheginera María Senena Corbalán García, Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Murcia.
We are reminded that the last conference entitled "Supercomputers and the well-being of society" will be held on Thursday 17 November, where the applications of supercomputing will be explained in the resolution of complex problems, such as the simulation of the weather, study DNA, simulation of new chemical compounds or new drugs.
The ceheginero José Juan López Espín, professor of computer science in the Department of Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche, will be in charge of imparting it.
