Culture ends a Book Day activities, successful content and participation. (29/04/2016)

With large number of people these days have been held with those activities, the Department of Culture, led by Wonders Fernández has paid his tribute to books and promoting reading.

The House of Culture Cehegín has hosted over the last week and today, presentations four books, Fulgencio Caballero and Pedro López Fernández, "In the shadow of a black angel" and "The Cuernavaca magistrate "respectively, leading people by the hand of history and literature;

"Life in Chiaroscuro", the municipal archivist, Jesus Francisco Hidalgo, who donated the proceeds from the sale of his books to the Afemnor Association;

and the last of them, presented yesterday, "Adding thought", the university professor of Psychology, Pedro Jara.

All these meetings of these authors with the public have been close and entertaining and had the response of a given audience who came to these appointments in a considerable number.

Also, most young people have had their place in these days, through various activities, as has been the initiative called "Backpack Viajera";

of the "Hidden Book";

also the visit of students from Reading Workshop Day Center, as an approach to reading our seniors;

and that, on Friday, was made through Lactocrianza Association under the title "Raising on Culture".

Although the main event was on Saturday April 23, Day of the Book, where the House of Culture hosted an emotional ceremony in which, first, the prestigious awards granted by the City of Cehegín were delivered to through their literary contests, the "Salvador Garcia Jimenez" tale;

and "Fernando Gil Tudela" poetry.

The winners, the Spaniard Juan Carlos Fernandez Leon, story;

and Jose Antonio Marin Cano Murcia, in poetry, collected his award and thanked the City of Cehegín this bet for creativity and the search for new literary values.

They also collected his prize, no less important, the young reader and reading older, more library loans made in 2015.

The most exciting note of that night put the tribute that the Department of Culture wanted to grant the ceheginero Professor Juan Antonio Gómez Valero, who has dedicated his life to teaching Spanish Language and Literature for over 40 years.

One of his students, Juan Fernando Zarco, was commissioned to make a beautiful prologue in which he exposed the trajectory of the teacher.

Later, Juan Antonio Gómez Valero own dedicated some words were a declaration of love for reading.
