The residents of the hamlet of El Escobar moved in procession this coming Saturday, April 30, its patron, the Virgen de las Nieves, from the chapel to the parish of San Antonio de Padua, as announced Councilwoman Celebration, Ana Maria Molina Lopez.
Because of the many links between this ceheginera parish and the neighborhood of San Antonio, many of whose residents were born there, the Patroness of El Escobar receive worship throughout the month of May.
The procession will start at 17:30 in the chapel of El Escobar and the image of the Virgen de las Nieves will cover the shoulders in their processional bier.
The headman of El Escobar, María Martínez Martínez, has invited all the neighbors to accompany the Virgin on its way to the parish of San Antonio.
