The Mayor of Cehegín, Jose Rafael Rocamora and Town Planning, Joaquín López Carreño, has concluded the information campaign through which explained, in different districts of the municipality, the Plan Housing Rehabilitation (ARRU (. We recall that through this program the town will receive grants for urban regeneration actions and investments, included in this program Regeneration Areas and Urban Renewal (ARRU) within the Housing Plan.

Specifically in Cehegín the delimited area for intervention comprises the urban area of ​​the town, affecting the old town, the downtown shopping area and the neighborhoods of San Cristobal, San Antonio, Wonderland or the Convent and San Juan or Bullring.

The investment will amount to 2.4 million, it is estimated, will enable the rehabilitation of 50 homes and other building cover 6. The grants allow conservation activities (foundation, structure, premises, roofs, facades or other common elements) , improving quality and sustainability, and accessibility to buildings and homes and shops.

With these aids citizens can afford almost 50 percent of the total cost of the rehabilitation work, so for practical purposes the public may obtain a maximum amount of 14,850 euros, while in the reconstruction, can benefit from grants involving up to 35 percent of the cost, with a maximum of 30,000 euros per household.

We recall that the development of the actions carried out by calls for grants by the Ministry, to be awarded to communities of owners and owners of single-family homes, while the performances of urbanization will be developed by the City.

Interested parties have until the May 20, 2016, to apply for these grants.

The aid payment shall be made by an advance payment of 25 percent of the grant, with the resolution of recognition of it, and the rest of the aid will be paid once provided by the beneficiary municipal license or other authorization certificate of urban nature.
