The ceheginero writer Pedro López Fernández, will present tomorrow in Cehegín his novel "Judge Cuernavaca".
It will do so within the activities related to World Book Day that will develop over the next few days the Department of Culture of the City of Cehegín, directed by Fernández García Maravillas.
The magistrate Cuernavaca is the story of an obsession.
It belongs to a family of Manchego wine growers whose roots over four centuries delve into the worship of a railway education, hard work, the inescapable responsibility must have a person in observing behavior unblemished, transmitted from generation to generation.
His fate as a judge is marked by a tragic event happened to an ancestor in the early twentieth century.
The novel makes a review of the life and the peculiar history of the magistrate, using the narrative tenderness for those anecdotes and memories of childhood and, especially, the hardness of the irreversible paternal disease, seasoned with a touch of humor and irony in the passages that describe student life and in the final chapters of the Tuscan adventure.
The book launch will take place tomorrow Thursday, April 21, at 20:00 hours in the House of Culture.
