The Department of Works and Services, directed by Pedro Lorencio, is currently carrying out different refurbishment works for the “Ginés Ibáñez” park. Their objective is to improve the accessibility of this place by paving different areas and creating a ramp that improves access to the park from Avda.

Poeta Gil Tudela and, in this way, improve the connection with the weekly market with all this environment.

  The actions are contemplated in the Cooperation Plan for Municipal Works and Services for the 2020-2021 annuities, the financing of which will be borne by the City Council itself and the Autonomous Community. The contract budget amounts to 48,000.00 euros, and they have been awarded to the Ceheginera company JRV Proyectos e Infraestructuras, SL for the amount of 45,822.70 euros.

They have an execution period of 1.5 months. The works will consist of the paving of an esplanade that is currently prepared with gravel and a side walk that gives access to a children's play area, improving accessibility and traffic through these areas. Tree pits will also be formed for the existing trees with blunt edge concrete curbs and others will be eliminated in the passage areas to facilitate accessibility, as well as a channel for public lighting and a ramp to improve accessibility to the Park through its southern area.
