The Cehegín City Council has received an award, published today in the BOE, thanks to the award that has been granted to the Cehegín Mediation Office,
These are summoned by the National Institute of Public Administration and the award has been to the "School of Training and Innovation of Public Administration in the Region of Murcia.
For the innovation project called «Project Oriented Innovation Program (PIOP): creation of the Mediation Office in the municipality of Cehegin».
We recall that the Municipal Mediation Office was created in 2019 and aims to mediate conflicts between individuals to prevent them from reaching the courts of justice.
The service, which is completely free and confidential, is an example of collaboration between public administrations, whose employees have been trained in mediation to intervene in disputes.
These are the ones that develop the action protocols, adding to the Municipality a fundamental service to increase the quality of coexistence between its neighbors.
In the office, which is located in the Adolfo Suárez Cultural Center, it mediates family, civil, neighborhood, family-business and labor conflicts.
The mayor of Citizen Security, Jerónimo Moya, the council on which this office depends, explained that “it is an honor to receive this national award, especially since the work carried out in this body is a tool that brings administration closer to the citizen and that offers you alternatives and help to solve this type of problem before reaching the judicial route â€
