The Craft Market 'El Mesoncico' will celebrate this Saturday, February 15, from 10:00 a.m., a new edition, dedicated to the Carnival of Cehegín.The Plaza del Castillo will host this event, in which more than half a hundred local artisans will meet to offer their products, sausages, ceramics, sweets, soaps, wines, cheeses, etc., and where different traditions of the Northwest Region can be known each month.
In this case, the Carnival will be the protagonist of the Market and in it the attendees will be able to see how the traditional fried chocolate cakes are made and tasted.
In addition, the Hansel and Gretel House will be installed, there will be children's activities for the little ones and a children's costume contest will be held.
A parade and animation with the carnival rhythm of the batukada will also be held.
This market, as usual, will have a Tourist Train service from the Plaza del Alpargatero.
