Rocamora dismantles the alarms launched by PP and Citizens and asks them to start governing (25/07/2019)

This morning, the spokesman of the Municipal Socialist Group in the City of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, has appeared before the media to talk about the economic situation of the session following the latest statements of the members of the current PP coalition government and citizens.

The socialist spokesman has begun by stabbing that "as neither PP nor Citizens thought to govern and they have neither program nor equipment designed for it, their strategy these four years is to try to find guilty in the PSOE to their lack of resolution of Cehegín's problems, which it is what it is to govern: to take your project forward, while solving inherited problems, futures and those that appear every day. "

To what Rocamora explains that "neither party is trained to govern because they have dedicated themselves to criticize and contribute nothing to municipal politics in this past term."

Rocamora explained in this regard that "it is laughable that the PP comes out to criticize this, when it is a verifiable and objective fact that the debt has fallen by almost 3.5 million euros in the years of the PSOE government, it has been done a great investment effort, as for example, for the heated pool and for contributions for the pavilions and other performances in neighborhoods and districts, without raising even one euro municipal taxes. "

To this, he adds that "Citizens is now complicit and co-responsible for that disastrous management of the Popular Party, from which they have arrived in time to 'sweep their own crap' when, during this term, they have to face the return of more than 300,000 € of the urban development agreement of Argosol, signing by the PP, or the almost 2 million euros of Habitalia, also managed by the PP, among others ".

Regarding the debt to suppliers or commercial debt, the socialist spokesman accuses PP and Citizens of "alarmists" with the suppliers and yet "they have not hesitated to raise their salaries and pay two mayors for four years."

Rocamora continues: "Mr. Moya says that we have left more than 2 million euros of unpaid bills, something that is normal in a company like the City of Cehegín, which also has more than 8 million pending collection and along with the fact that the bulk of municipal taxes are charged as of September. What Mr. Moya does not say is that, when we arrived at the mayor's office in 2015, there were about € 243,000 in the City Council accounts and yet, on the 14th day of June 2019, the current government has found more than 1.4 million euros counting and sounding to face payments, so instead of alarming, what they have to do is pay, just like we did we."

José Rafael Rocamora has indicated that "these are the first consequences of the 'Pact of the stairs', a pact behind what citizens have chosen at the polls: a government team without a project for Cehegín."

Rocamora has finished indicating that "the Socialist Municipal Group, from the opposition, will do a constructive work for the municipality, as the citizens expect from their politicians."
