From last Sunday 14 and until Friday 26 July, the Casa Europa Association is immersed in a new edition of Volunteer Field, with a group of 24 young people from different parts of Spain, from 15 to 17 years old, to whom they are united by the same conscience for the conservation of the environment.
It is, as in previous editions, an itinerant field that will tour, cleaning plastics and non-biodegradable waste, several degraded natural spaces of the municipalities of Cehegín, Calasparra and Bullas, municipalities that make up the Casa Europa association, promoter of the draft,
At the moment the group is acting and residing in Cehegín, in the hostel of Casa Europa, until today Thursday, July 18, in which they will leave for Calasparra.
Yesterday they were visited in the Casa Europa by José Antonio Zafra, whose youth council subsidizes part of this initiative;
and received at the City Council by the Councilor for Culture, Juan Martínez García.
The general objective pursued by this association of Casa Europa and that can be deduced through the specific actions developed by these young people is to sensitize the citizens of the municipalities involved in this project and especially the young people - with the problem of pollution and its impact on climate change.
