The Director General of Tourism, Marina Garcia, mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria, the councilors of Tourism, Works and Services, April, and Juan Antonio Francisco Chico, respectively, and the manager of the Greenway Consortium, Juan Soria, visited works of the recreational area 'Paraje El Seco', Via Verde, which have been completed.
The renovation of this stretch of Via Verde, between the Bridge of Chervil and the Bridge of the Dead, has been the creation of new sidewalks, equipped with 14 lamps, and one lane for traffic.
Funded by the Town Green Way Tourism and the Municipality of Cehegín (investment of approximately 200 000 euros) have been a substantial improvement for residents, pedestrians and pilgrims, because, besides the area for walkers, is installed one of its banks albero a walk with trees, landscaping, streetlights, drinking fountains and swings.
