Technology Center Marble and Natural Stone (CTM) on Cehegín and belonging to the Network of Technological Centres in the Region of Murcia, promoted by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Innovation through the Instituto de Fomento (INFO), welcomes morning at the first meeting facilities of the European project "Stonesafety" which aims to combat workplace accidents in the natural stone industry through the creation of a completely new 3D training material.
Is scheduled to attend the meeting partners from Finland, Germany, Malta and Portugal, together with the MLC, try to create a reference training materials for professional associations, unions and government get the right impact in the many courses taught in the European Union on safety and health within the sector.
This project, which will last two years, is funded with more than 230 thousand euro under the Lifelong Learning Programme Leonardo da Vici and contemplates the creation of a report on key risk situations in the natural stone companies in the participating countries and to assess the extent of current use of protective measures and, finally, the realization of a 3D tool for training.
