The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana participated today in the inauguration of the First Course on Public Policy from a Gender Perspective, organized by the University of Murcia and held in Cehegín.

During his speech, recalled Bascuñana legislative developments in equal opportunity policies in our country and focused on the adoption and development of the Act on Equality between Women and Men and Violence Protection Gender approved by the regional government and whose principle of gender mainstreaming involves the application of a gender perspective at various stages of planning and implementing social policies, and ensure equal opportunity and treatment between men and women. "
Finally, he recalled that recently approved IV Equity Plan which sets out the guidelines for political action of the autonomous administration in the different areas of society, economy and culture and is a tool that ensures equal opportunities for men and women.
