Las Fiestas de San Sebastian traditional return to the top of the Casco Antiguo, Plaza del Castillo, this weekend, during which its neighbors will hold their contests empredraos, rice and crumbs, as well as hosting the fourth edition of Crews meeting, among other activities.

PROGRAM

Friday, January 16

19 hours: general ringing of church bells to herald the start of the festivities from the parish of Santa María Magdalena.

H. 19.30: Turn of the FIRST CASTLE OF SAN SEBASTIAN according to the canons of tradition (with disused furniture neighbors).

21.30 h.: GOURMET LOCAL COMPETITION empedrao (enlivened with background music). The commission shall provide for free the ingredients of this dish to the various participating clubs.

Saturday, January 17

9 am: From the Plaza del Castillo: Departure of the Volunteers to the mountain to collect firewood and food of brotherhood.

16 h: children's traditional games (pans, greased pole, sack races, etc) enlivened by Karlo's showman.

18 pm: General Ringing Bell.

19 pm: Turn the GRAN CASTILLO DE SAN SEBASTIAN.

21 h.: EXHIBITION BY LOCAL GASTRONOMY OF ROCKS SEBASTIANA: Chinese tasting mareao developed during the late Napoleonic style.

Crumbs making groups in attendance.

Entertained throughout the program by Karlo's showman. The commission shall provide for free the ingredients of this dish at different clubs participating.

Sunday, January 18:

10 hours: IV MEETING OF GANGS SAN SEBASTIAN 2009. For the groups: Group Gang Dance and poplar Source, Gang Zarzadilla Animas basement and Crew Animeros del Campillo de los Jiménez, who will begin touring in the Old Town parade.

11.30 am: PILGRIMAGE OF SAN SEBASTIAN from the Plaza del Castillo Square Mesoncico (route: C / Mayor, Pedro Chico de Guzman, Lopez Chicheri, and end at Plaza Mesoncico).

12 hours: In the Plaza del Mesoncico, EASTER MASS SUNG BY GANGS OF ANIMEROS.

After the Mass, blessing and sharing of traditional THE HOLY ARROWS and their oranges, and back in a procession with the image of San Sebastian to the Parish Church.

13 h.: MEETING BETWEEN THE GANGS MUSICAL PARTICIPANTS.

14.30 am: At the Plaza del Castillo: TASTING OF RICE and drinks from the earth.

Monday, January 19:

19 hours, ringing of bells and lit the last CASTLE EVE OF SAN SEBASTIAN.
