The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, and the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria, began this morning the first stone for the construction of Multipurpose Theatre and Cultural Building in the town.
Cruz said that with this infrastructure Cehegín become a cultural reference for the Northwest Region ", as" the most monumental city of Murcia this audience needed to complete the cultural offer, which also become a destination for conference tourism.
This infrastructure is also home to schools of music and dance, exhibition halls, conference and meeting rooms, offices and cafeteria, as well as a three-storey car park with capacity for 360 vehicles, among other agencies.
The works will involve an investment of 11,700,000 euros, of which 9 million will Autonomous Region and the City of Cehegín the rest.
